Molded Animal Details

The back is flat and has no through-hole. This gives the piece a defined surface for glue or another suitable adhesive.

During sampling, the rear surface should be checked for excessive curvature, visible resin residue or molding defects that could reduce the effective bonding area.
Resin Construction
Resin allows small animal forms to be molded with defined contours while keeping the decorative component relatively lightweight. This is useful for jewelry and hair accessories where the size and weight of individual components can affect the finished product.
Actual weight depends on the animal design, dimensions and thickness. Where weight is important, the finished sample can be checked by SKU rather than relying on a general product-category value.
Color and Surface Options
Depending on the design, available finishes can include glossy, matte, transparent, multi-color and glitter effects. Color can be selected according to an existing design or discussed for custom production.
For repeat orders, the approved color sample should be retained as the reference. This gives production and inspection teams a clear visual standard instead of relying only on a color name such as "pink" or "blue." 

Dimensions vary according to animal shape and mold structure. Small designs are commonly produced around 8–12 mm, while larger animal shapes can reach 20–30 mm or more.
For a specific SKU, the final length, width and thickness should be confirmed from the approved sample or production specification.

For bulk orders, inspection focuses on several points that directly affect finished-product assembly:
Dimensions: Length, width and thickness are checked against the approved specification.
Animal details: Ears, tails, facial features and body proportions are compared with the approved sample.
Back flatness: The adhesive surface is checked for excessive curvature, resin residue and visible molding defects.
Surface condition: Visible bubbles, scratches, dents and other appearance defects are inspected.
Edges: Excess resin or visible flash around the molded perimeter is controlled.
Color: Production pieces are compared with the approved color reference.
Packing: Different designs, colors and quantities are separated according to the agreed SKU requirements.
For custom designs, a production sample should be approved before the bulk order. The approved sample establishes the reference for dimensions, animal details, color, finish and back geometry, which is particularly useful when the same design is reordered.

Small animal cabochons can be attached to snap clips, barrettes, hairpins and headbands. The cabochon size should match the available mounting area so that sufficient adhesive contact remains after assembly.
